Snkrs Hits Shelves! “AMM x AJ3” Co-Branded 2.0 Release Confirmed, First Generation Has Taken Off…

The long-teased A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 has swooped onto the Snkrs China App, with the official launch locked in for 9am on August 27th for 1599 RMB!

The look of the shoe is familiar to all of you, and after numerous collapsed co-brandings, AMM is finally picking back up on the once-popular AJ3 with the 2.0 Black Edition.

The black version of the ‘Black’ colorway is decorated with darker shades of black, flat pewter and violet ore, while the midsole retains AMM’s classic aged yellowed look with a consistent level of tonal coloration. The materials continue to be of a high specification, with lychee leather and suede stitching.

This time, it also features a special shoebox and extra velvet-lined accessories to show off the high specification.

The first generation AMM x AJ3 can be described as the pinnacle out of the gate, and is currently the highest premium shoe in the AMM lineup thanks to its great texture and Vibe-inspired look. As for the 2.0’s Black colorway, the face value is probably not as pleasing.

Some sizes of the first-generation AJ3 have already reached the $4,000+ mark, but many of AMM’s recent co-branding performances have been quite crotch-pulling, so it’s hard to say what price point AMM × AJ3 2.0 will end up settling at given its ultra-high launch price.
